This cowl came about as it was extremly cold and I was knitting upp some things to give away to the homeless shelted we have here. Its nothing fancy but its easy and works up fast, and mostly came about as I dint have any thick yarn to make hats on kk loom. Lets get started:
You will need:
- 2 skeins of 50gr worsted weight yarn (to be used and held as one strand)
- 2 28-hole semi circle pieces, 4 12- hole straight pieces
- Loom pick of your choice
- Needle to weave in ends when you are done
Asseble the loom:
Put the 12-hole pieces togather 2 and 2 and attach 28 pieces to them, Using 1 large green peg, mark the start of your row, then place pink pegs in every other hole till you fill your loom (I ended up with 52 pegs placed).
Cast on by ewrapping every peg, then ewrap them again and knit them off. I did this to get a stretchy end to it.
Knit in the round as following:
Row one: Knit (using regular flat stitch, you dont want it to be too tight)
Row two: Purl
Knit till you get your desired lenght. Mine seems to be at 50 rows as I am kitting up all the yawn in the darker skein. Bind off using super stretchy bind off. Weave in ends and enjoy!
